This weekend there are two fun events for dogs and their people.
Saturday February 20, at Lakewood Ranch The Pug Parade and Pug Wedding will be held at Adventure Park in Lakewood Ranch. Pugs in costumes, pugs as celebrity look-alikes will compete for prizes. BTW – everyone’s favorite Weather Guy John Scalzi will be judging the pugtestants. At 11:30 – the Pug Union will take place between Bogie and Lola, I am sure that tears will be shed and rice will fly.
Sunday February 21st from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm The second annual Sarasota Pet Fair will be held at 1215 Mango Avenue. Animals and people are welcome for training demonstrations, pet food giveaways, games and more. An animal communicator and pet photographer will there – I am sure a good time for all.
Best of all attendance to both events is free. Donations are taken for the Humane Society will be taken at the Pug Parade, and for the various organizations that Animals by Nature supports at the Pet Fair.
