Saturday May 14th is Dog Day Afternoon at Gettel Toyota in Bradenton. Candace Botha, Publisher of Sarasota Pet Magazine chats with SarasotaDog’s Rover Reporter about this family fun day.
Kids will enjoy music, face painting a drawing contest! Dog Owners will have a chance to ask questions of a professional dog trainer, enter a Doggy Costume Contest or try their hand and paws in an interactive agility demonstration.
The Humane Society of Manatee, Canine Castaways, Safe Haven, Racing Dog Rescue Project and Satchel’s Last Resort will there with adorable, adoptable dogs. This is a great way to meet and greet your potential new family member and chat with the folks who have been caring for the pet.

Sammie is a girlie, girl. Loves to play in the yard and cuddle up on the couch. Sammie is one of many that will be with us on May 14th.
Remember to come early! The first 100 attendees will receive a goodie bag filled with fun things for you and your pup!
