Sandy the Sheltie

The weekend is approaching fast, Sarasota, which means we have another adoptable dog for your viewing! Meet sweet lady Sandy.

Sandy is a beautiful Shetland Sheepdog. The nice people at the shelter believe she is approximately 4-5 years old. Honor Animal Rescue took her in from the overcrowded situation Animal Services, where she was turned in as a stray. Sandy is spayed and up to date on all her shots.

We’ve been told that everyone just loves her as she is a very sweet and loving girl. She weighs approximately 40 pounds, as she is quite a leggy girl. Sandy is a little frightened being at the shelter, as the loud noises can be hard to adjust to at first for pups. She absolutely loves people and one of her favorite things is to be brushed.

Sandy would be a great canine companion to an active family as she is an excellent walker on her leash. Did we mention she also has an absolute gorgeous coat to boot?! Do you have room for her in your home and heart? Visit Nate’s Place at 8459 Cooper Creek Blvd in Sarasota or call 941-306-5863 to schedule an appointment to meet her, today!

Sandy’s story is brought to you by Ace Pet Resort, a resort for vacationing dogs and cats in the Sarasota area!
