Scouting out the Weekend October 15th & 16th, 2011

Saturday from 9am -2pm:  The Natural Wag!  Local pet lovers will gather at 665 South Orange for a Wag-fest.  Adoptable Dogs from Gimme Shelter Pets, Satchel’s Last Resort, and the Ambassador Dogs from Racing Dog Rescue Project will be at the event for a meet and greet.  Great giveaways, The Dog Trick Show, Food and Music!

Local craft and pet business people as well as holistic practitioners will be on-hand to celebrate living the green life with your dog.   Check out the Doggy Brunch Buffet Sampler from Holistic for Pets and be sure to visit with Angel Cruz from OrgreenX about keeping your house clean and green with his all natural pesticides, when you have pets you have to be careful!

The Natural Wag! will also feature the fuel efficient PRIUS Gettel Toyota.   Hector Vega from Gettel will be available to answer all your questions about the new models from Toyota.   Food?  Of course!  The Saltwater Cafe will be at The Natural Wag! with light bites, and classical guitarist, Daveed will set the mood.

The schedule is chock full of activity:

Speakers include:

10:15:  Dr. Anne Chauvet of CCVSS, on Brain Food for your Dog, tips to keep body and mind in peak performance mode
10:45: Introduction to Canine Massage with Jenifer Funk of Abundant Life Massage
11:15 : Demystifying Dog Food Ingredients with Val Clows of Holistic for Pets
11:45: Ask the Trainer, Tips for Training your Pup with Jeanine of Jeanine’s Professional Dog Training.

1:00:  The Dog Trick and Talent Show!  Enter your dog here with our free online registration form, or at the event with a $5.00 fee which will be donated to local rescue groups.  If your dog can sit, shake or roll over you could win A Mommy and Doggy Makeover,  A certificate to the MadFish Grill or another fabulous prize.  Space is limited so hurry to register now!
