Saturday: Have you checked out Historic Spanish Point? Every third Saturday of the month, this park like setting welcomes well-behaved, leashed dogs to stroll around and picnic in what was once Mrs. Potter Palmer’s personal paradise.
Open from 9am to 12 noon, its a great opportunity to walk with your dog through a little bit of Sarasota’s history.
Historic Spanish Point is at 337 N. Tamiami Trail, Osprey Florida just north of E. Bay Road.
