Work that Charm!

It’s a bit wet and rainy this Friday afternoon, Sarasota. But don’t fret! We have your adoptable dogs of the week. Meet Charm and Cindylou.

Charm is quite a beauty, as she’s a black and white American Pit Bull Terrier. She’s approximately 2 ½ years old and lives up to her name as she’s quite the charmer. This lovable gal came to Sarasota County Animal Shelter back in April.

Charm would do great in just about any household as she is great with cats, big dogs and kids, too. She would need a slow introduction to any pets currently in your home but doesn’t seem to like small dogs very much. Her favorite things? Charm loves to run and exercise, as she has plenty of doggy energy! Her daily routine is to walk a few miles every day and seems to thoroughly enjoy her leashed walks.

The ideal home for Charm would be one with someone who works from home or is home quite frequently as Charm has been known to have a bit of uneasiness when away from her owner. Charm does great in a crate while you’re gone but only after she’s had an ample amount of exercise.
Next up is Cindylou. She is a gray and white girl and we’re told she’s apparently a Weimaraner/Bulldog mix. Cindylou is just over a year old and has been at the shelter since the beginning of May.

Cindylou would be the perfect dog in any home. She’s quite laid back and pretty easy going. Cindylou gets along and plays great with other dogs but the staff is unsure if she likes cats yet. If you’re looking for a faithful canine friend to watch tv by your side, then come meet this warm girl.

Contact Sarasota County Animal Services for more information about Charm and Cindylou by calling 941-861-9500 or hop on down to their facility at 8451 Bee Ridge Road by Rothenbach Park.

Charm & Cindylou’s stories are all brought to you by Ace Pet Resort, a resort for vacationing dogs and cats to and from the Sarasota area!
