Southern Appeal

With names like Freckels and Tater, you know Sarasota County Animal Services has some southern appeal. Check out your adoptable dogs of the week, Sarasota. They are a couple of mighty fine  Florida jewels.

First up is Freckels. I like her already, as I’m partial to any “F” names, like myself. This beauty is a Chinese Sharpei/Pit Bull Terrier mix. Still a young lady at around 8 months old, she is spayed and has been eagerly awaiting her forever home since she came to the shelter at the end of May.

Kristen Little tells us that she’s a great dog; Very friendly and loves to play at any chance she gets. The ideal home for her would be with a family that could help her with basic training and enjoy going on long walks or jogs. She would love to have another playful pup to share a home with.

Next we have Tater. He’s a neutered Beagle mix and just over 2 ½ years old. He’s been looking for a nice warm couch since the end of June. Tater is a pretty chill boy, always looking for a place to nap or a nibble of food. He likes to hang out and lounge wherever you go. Offer him a walk and he’ll happily oblige.

If you’re looking for a laid back pooch with a love for lounging then you’ve found your perfect canine companion in Tater. Call 941-861-9525 for more information on Tater or Freckels. Or feel free to stop by their facility at the end of Bee Ridge Road, east of I-75 by Rothenbach Park.

This week’s pets are brought to you by ACE Pet Resort. ACE Pet Resort is an award-winning pet care facility with a knowledgeable and caring team situated on nine beautiful acres for the discerning pet that craves personalized care and individual attention.
