From A to Z, Animal Services Has You Covered!

December begins tomorrow and with the holidays fast approaching, why not consider opening your home and give the gift that keeps on giving – animal adoption. Not only are you opening a spot for a homeless animal at the shelter but you’re also enriching your life with a bundle of constant love and affection. So come meet your adoptable dogs of the week, Sarasota.
Adelle here is a newly spayed female blue & white Pitbull Terrier. This pretty young lady is around 8 months old and just came to the shelter at the beginning of the month. She’s a smart dog that would make a great addition to any family.
Adelle is an energetic girl and she loves to play with other dogs. She is eager to learn and has been very attentive while working on her basic obedience training. The staff at SCAS thinks she’s coming along quite nicely, as she picked up on the sit command very quickly. Bravo!
Now meet Ziggy! Ziggy is a soon-to-be neutered white American Bulldog mix. This wiggle butt boy is also a young lad at just 10 months old. We’re told he is just a tad on the small side for his breed, coming in at 40 pounds for the time being.
The staff doesn’t expect him to get much taller but he will more than likely fill out as he grows into his body. He’s also a newer pup at the shelter but seems to be catching on quickly. He also gets along great with other dogs and would fit right into any loving household. Come scoop up this true Florida boy!
