Success! More than 14 pets were adopted yesterday at the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Department of Animal Services Fall Adoptathon. It was great to see so many happy faces in the lobby.
Outside, K9 Korral and Petsmart supported the event as members of the Sarasota pet business community.
Kristen Little, Volunteer and Foster Coordinator at Animal Services told us “The adoptathon was a great success with a steady flow of visitors. Most importantly, more than 14 pets found their forever homes yesterday.
A big thanks to Madfish Grill, and The Old Salty Dog both dog-friendly restaurants for their donations, as well as the many other participating businesses. The event was sponsored by Sarasota in Defense of Animals.
