It's Good to be Clean

Bathing & Ear Cleaning Tips from Sheri Fiset

When bathing your dog you should always use a mild hypoallergenic shampoo designed for use on dogs. Although dish soap or your favorite shampoo will get your dog clean and smelling great, these products are designed for humans not dogs. Your dog’s skin and fur has a different chemistry than yours and using products designed for human use can strip natural oils and cause your dog’s skin to become dry and itch.

Puppy Mill Protest

The dogs you see in this picture live in a cage. It has a wire bottom. Their paws never touch the grass. They don’t get to cuddle, play with the ball or come to Mommy. Their job is to breed. When they can’t breed any more – they are killed. The lucky ones are euthanized. Others are shot, or clubbed to death. That’s why 22 people stood out in the blistering sun tonight breathing in all that US 41 has to offer in terms of oxygen during rush hour.
