Here’s the scoop on St. Petrick’s Day in Venice.
The Jacaranda Animal Hospital, 725 Shamrock Blvd, will be hosting the 3rd Annual St. PETricks Day Festival & Pet Fair on Saturday, March 12th from 1:00 – 5:00pm. Highlights of the event include pet adoptions, silent auction, vendors, kids games, and the highly attended Pet Fashion Show hosted by WTMY’s Doggie Diva Radio Show hosts Susan Marie and Sophia the Doggy Diva.
Connie Summers Photography will be on site offering event special portrait sessions and Double Bubba BBQ Catering will serve outstanding BBQ lunches and drinks throughout the event.
“Our office wanted to provide an event that the entire family would enjoy with their pets. Venice is very limited on pet friendly events and ours is made for pet owners and pet lovers. ”, states Monica Leighton, event organizer and practice manager for Jacaranda Animal Hospital, “We are able to find forever homes fot some amazing pets, raise money for a great cause, celebrate and have fun”.
There is free admission to the event and proceeds from the auction and fashion show support C.H.I.P.I.N. (Children Helping Injured Pets In Need) Fund. The fund was started by Shamrock Preschool and Jacaranda Animal Hospital to provide emergency care to pets of low-income families who would not be able to otherwise afford life threatening care for their pets.
Jacaranda Animal Hospital has been providing veterinary care to Venice’s pets for the past 25 years.
