This weekend a party for people and their dogs will happen on Sunday at Gettel Toyota in Bradenton. The first 100 visitors will receive a free mini-cooler with a guide to local dog parks! The Second Annual Dog Day Afternoon from Noon to 4 will offer a panoply of fun including a Doggie Costume Contest, Animal Communications with Lori Michel, pet portraits from Connie Summers and agility with K9 Korral.
If you haven’t tried basic agility, this is an awesome chance to put your pup’s paws in the ring to see how he or she likes it. Mark Shambour, Dog Trainer and Co-Owner of the K9 Korral will be there to assist and talk with you about basic agility training.
Got kids? Bring them for face-painting and to meet the adorable adoptables from our local rescue groups. Satchel’s Last Resort, Canine Castaways and other hardworking volunteers will be at the event to help you find the perfect pet for your family and your lifestyle.
A big thanks to Jeramie Snelling of Gettel Toyota for hosting again this year. We look forward to a fun-filled day. The first 100 visitors will receive a free mini-cooler with a guide to local dog parks!
See you there!!
