GlobalGiving has published its annual Top 10 List, and SUGAR’S GIFT™, serving Sarasota and Manatee Counties is featured as #6 on the list.
This inaugural list highlights 15 of GlobalGiving’s nonprofit partners (10 winners and five honorable mentions) that have demonstrated a commitment to impact through learning and improvement.
The winners on the list have earned the most points in GG Rewards, GlobalGiving’s system for tracking the way nonprofits Listen, Act, Learn. Repeat. Nonprofits earn points for listening to their stakeholders, acting on what they hear by testing out new ideas , and learning from the results of experiments to improve their programs and services.
“Our ultimate aim is to drive more resources to the nonprofits that learn and improve the most. We’re proud to highlight SUGAR’S GIFT™ for their commitment to effectiveness through listening, learning, and improving” said Alison Carlman, GlobalGiving’s director of impact and communications.

About SUGAR’S GIFT™, INC.
Our mission is to provide hospice, euthanasia and end-of-life veterinary services for terminally ill pets in their own homes. This allows them a comfortable, peaceful setting, where they have lived and been loved, to cross over the Rainbow Bridge with dignity. Our services overcome conditions that could be due to the pet’s inability to be moved or treated at a facility, or due to the owner’s inability to leave the home. Our services also include those individuals who can afford veterinary care but prefer to donate to an organization that can help their pets cross the Rainbow Bridge from home with comfort, dignity and peace.
Sugar’s Gift™, Inc. is the only non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization in the country whose mission is to help terminally ill pets cross over the Rainbow Bridge from home with comfort, dignity and peace.
