Every year . . .every New Year’s, most of us resolutely think (even as a silent vow) of what we will do to become “better people”. Be thinner, be more prosperous, more virtuous or more productive. This year, our resolution is a bit more basic. We resolve to play more. See that our dog’s tails are wagging more. Every moment with your dog is precious. In whatever small way – or big way, you are everything to your dog. Enjoy that. Understand what a meaningful glance really is. That getting up at 7 in the morning to go for a walk can be a blast – in the rain or snow, or a heat wave. Its about being together.
