In mid-July of 2010, the Sarasota Dog MeetUp group was formed as a way to meet and greet other Sarasota area Dog lovers. We now have more than 140 members getting together on a regular basis to socialize our dogs and visit dog-friendly venues in town.
Our January MeetUp will be this Monday night, the 24th at the Polo Grill in Lakewood Ranch at 6:00 pm. We’ll meet in the big outdoor dining courtyard, which is covered and heated. We’ve got lots of ideas for 2011 for play dates, visits to the dog beach and possible speakers.
Come out and join us! Our members include lovely Mixed Breed dogs, Labs, Yorkies, Mastiffs, Collies and some pretty nice people too. If you’d like to attend, please visit our MeetUp site and register, its easy and free. That way, we’ll know you are coming and can let the Polo Grill know, how many people will be there. You’ll also be able to read the reviews and see photos from our previous get-togethers.
