Stopping by the Humane Society of Sarasota County Thursday afternoon, it was just another working day for most of us.
At the Shelter though, the team of hard working people were also going through their routine of caring for, giving love, treats and walks to more than 150 animals that are now housed there.
Ginny, the Events Coordinator took us on a tour to introduce us to some of the dogs and cats who need homes. Along the way, we met some amazing people too. Canine coaches volunteer their time to walk dogs, practice training and just be a pal.
Volunteers working with cats spend time cuddling, playing and monitoring kitty behavior. The Humane Society is located at:
