Saturday morning, we’ll be heading down to the Dog Beach Venice Florida! The beach is part of Brohard Paw Park. It is just south of Sharky’s Restaurant.
his park is run naturally by the county and its great! The park that fronts the road has benches, water and bags. There is a little boardwalk that leads from the park back to the water front.
Be sure to keep your dog on the leash during this time! There could be a squirrel romping the grounds next to the boardwalk or another distraction.
The boardwalk takes a little turn and then you are on the beachfront.
You will want to bring chair and or blanket, sunscreen of course, and some water for you and your dog.
If your dog is a swimmer, pack a towel. We’ll be meeting around 10, spend an hour or so romping and then head up to the SaltWater Cafe, for a light bite on their patio. Be sure to register for our events on Meetup.com, so we know that you are part of our group. Registration is free and very quick.
