As co-owner of Best Friends Animal Hospital, Dr. Clarkson is committed to providing each of her clients and patients the personalized and compassionate care they deserve. From diagnosing your sick pet and offering a treatment plan to ensure their recovery to providing comprehensive care for your puppy, kitten or your senior “best friend.”, she is dedicated to providing the best possible care. By practicing for 20 years in Florida she is uniquely qualified to advise her clients on the special medical dangers specific to Florida pets.
Dr. Clarkson earned her doctorate degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Florida in 1990. She is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. When not at work helping her patients, Dr. Clarkson is an avid Triathlete, enjoys biking, and runs Half Marathons. Her most recent personal best was running the Rock-N-Roll Marathon in San Antonio, TX.
