At 3:00 pm on Sunday, more than twelve adoptions had taken place, and six dogs were on hold for pick-up later. 
The Humane Society of Sarasota County had a great turn out for the Paws Across the Planet with a nice mix of families,couples and single people looking for pets. Brightly colored walls, outdoor areas and cat cuddling centers
make the HSSC a great place to visit with prospective adoptees. Good luck to all of the new families, and thanks to the HSSC and their awesome volunteers for helping our local homeless pets.
