This Sunday January 12, 2014, Vintage Paws Sanctuary will hold a rummage sale to assist with the care of senior dogs in need at Ace Pet Resort 7950 E State Road 72 (Clark Road). That’s just east of I75.
From Noon to 5, the sale will offer goods from the wild to the wonderful. Jennifer Hummel, owner of Ace Pet Resort and founder of the 501(c)-3 Vintage Paws, gave us a sneak peek at some of the cool items that will be offered for sale.
A kitschy set of coasters dressed up like a loaf of bread … each slice is actually a coaster. A fabulous and funky 1950’s swiss aqua camera – who wouldn’t want this to round out their collection of mid-century modern?
Scores of useful household items will be reasonably priced – check out this like new Samsung Microwave Oven – donated when the owner moved to a new home with the appliances in place.
Need a new bag, some art work, bedding, clothes, kitchen items or general household equipment? It’s all there. Oh! And it’s not too late to donate. Ms. Hummel told us that donations will be accepted right up until the time of the sale.
While you are at the sale, stroll by the Vintage Paws Memorial Garden a beautiful and peaceful spot to reflect and remember our pets past and present.
