We really can’t think of a thing. A special dog-friendly “pie” was whipped up for this contest held at the 2014 Dog Olympics at Bayside Pet Resort this afternoon. 
Contests joined their owners on the dais, no encouragement was needed for dogs to dig in to the delectable “pies’.
Competition was fierce. Much licking, snuffling and laughing ensued.
Corgi’s, Weimies, Labs, Poodles and Mixes participated but in the end proving in fact that size does NOT matter – Casper the Beagle prevailed.
The event hosted vendors and more than 9 Rescues and Shelters with a mission to raise awareness for adoptable dogs and cats in our area. This amazing little girl below is available from Canine Castaways.
We meet a lot of dogs in our travels but this one stole our hearts with her sweet demeanor and loving personality.
