The Sarasota Dog Meetup is a group of 1000+ dedicated dog lovers. We get together at least once a month to play, and to learn about all things dog. Of course, not everyone attends every meetup! We are primarily a social group, meeting at restaurants and dog parks, but frequently invite guest speakers to share their expert insights with us.
Next month, you’ll find us at Lakeview Paw Park on August 8th with our pups in the morning – about 10:00 am.
On August 22, Dr. Wendy Ying, a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine will join us to talk about the 3 Keys to Healthy Hounds. Wendy is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine but uses Chinese Medicine as a unique approach to wellness for her clients.
In September, Cheryl Brady of Vetcare Express will conduct the American Red Cross’ CPR & First Aid Class on the 20th These are skills that all dog (and cat owners) should have for their pet’s safety and their own peace of mind!
We’ll be cooking up some other fun activities along the way, and are always open to ideas from members.
