Local Sarasota veterinarians Dr. Madonna Fugent and Dr. Tammy Clarkson of Best Friends Animal Hospital are once again collecting dog and cat food for needy families. Working with All Faiths Food Bank, Best Friends is focusing on food for pets to help keep them at home with their families.
If you’d like participate, just bring unopened bags or cans of pet food to the clinic any time in November or early December. You might like to stop by though on November 28th when the clinic will host their 10 year anniversary OPEN HOUSE from 11-2. Kids and well-mannered, leashed dogs are invited. It’s a great time to meet the staff, or take a tour of the clinic. There will be refreshments, a coloring contest and more!
