Prior to entering the field of dog training & behavior as a full time endeavor, Lindsay worked in numerous industries, primarily as an engineer. Over the years she has gained valuable experience working successfully with clients and providing high-level customer service. Lindsay has been working with animals her entire life, and while dogs were always at home, she has also inherited a love of horses. Lindsay both rode and trained horses for a large portion of her life. As a degreed engineer, Lindsay has worked and lived in many places. While engineering can be a fulfilling career, she wanted more. Lindsay‘s love for animals, as well as her desire to make a difference in the community led her to Good CitiZEN Dog Training.
As an avid animal lover, the Good CitiZEN Dog Training model couldn’t have been a more perfect fit. Lindsay loves educating animals and people. She believes that it is truly fulfilling to see her dog training clients succeed. As Lindsay puts it, ”I love to see the look on my clients faces when they finally understand how to effectively communicate with their furry companions.”
Lindsay and her partner, Matt have two mixed breed rescues of their own; Robin, a terrier/pointer/pitbull mix, and Rocky, a cross between a mastiff and a pitbull. Both dogs have already benefitted greatly from Lindsay’s training, and what we call Doggy Zen. As a native to St. Louis,Lindsay is an avid Cardinals and Blues fan, so be sure to wear your Tampa Bay Rays and Lightning gear loud and proud anytime you are around Lindsay. In their spare time Lindsay and Matt enjoy all of the outdoor activities that are possible in this beautiful slice of paradise we call the Suncoast.
