Would you know how to help a pet that is injured – or what do to if you found your dog on the verge of drowning? You can learn how to respond in these situations with Cheryl Brady of VetCare Express. Her class Pet First Aid & CPR will be held on March 8th at 1:00 pm at the Bayside Pet Resort/8154 N. Tamiami Trail, (just north of University).
This class will provide essential information to help you through emergency situations to keep you and your pet safe. Cheryl covers topics like proper application of the Heimlich Maneuver on small and large dogs, CPR, how to lift an injured dog and much more. Upon completion of the class you will receive certification from the American Red Cross in the mail.
Pet owners can feel more prepared to protect their pets and pet professionals can add a layer of security for their clients whether they are professional dog walkers, groomers or even trainers.
The fee for the class is $83.50 and covers all materials and the certificate. If you are interested in signing up – please join our meetup group and reserve your spot!
