Nora Patterson Park at 946 Siesta Drive offers lots of amenities! It would a great place to meet for a coffee and to enjoy the water views. There is abundant seating shade and full accessible restroom facilities.
A nice stroll along the water – but no water access. We visited at 9:45 am ish and there were no other visitors there, save this Captain who was awaiting his charter guests.

Lots of nearby trees and the space under the building provided shade, it was a bit breezy on the day we visited in September which kept temperatures bearable.

We did not see water fountains or bags that are often provided at Sarasota County Parks, but could have missed them.

This helpful map gave us a point of reference on the positioning of the park.
Overall, we’d give this park 3 of 5 stars. If you needed a place to walk your dog on the key, that offered parking and facilities, with an added bonus of water views this is your spot. To us, it felt a bit post-industrial with all of the municipal benches, concrete and boxy architecture. But it got the job done.
