How about a spiritual renewal for your pup? From 9am to Noon on Saturday 10/8, Church of the Trinity MCC will offer a Pet Fair and Blessing of the Animals.
Vendors, Rescue Groups, and Demonstrations, and a Pet/Owner Look-Alike Contest will be held first thing at 9am. This event is free.
At 2:00 pm, learn Pet CPR from Cheryl Brady at VetCare Express. This class has limited space and is offered for $65.00. Call 941-592-5131 for more information.

And later on Saturday, don’t miss Sam Snead’s Oktoberfest Extravaganza, a cultural street festival, Oct. 8 starting at 1 p.m. at Hillview Street and Osprey Avenue in Sarasota. Humane Society of Sarasota County staff and volunteers will be manning the beer tent and ALL the beer proceeds will benefit the HSSC. We’ll drink to that!
