A gorgeous weekend is in store for us weather-wise and especially for dogs. On Saturday, the PlayDate is happening at Poochie’s Pampered Pups. Bring your well-behaved pup for a group play at this fun doggy day care center. 
There are both indoor and outdoor play areas with great toys, a swimming pool and artificial turf so that paws stay clean.
On Sunday – Jingle Paws Jubilee!!! From Noon to 5 on December 9th, Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota will be transformed into a holiday village for cat and dog lovers. You’ll find hand-crafted items, pet-themed jewelry, toys and lots of expert advice from local trainers and pet professionals. Face-painting, music and agility demonstrations will add to the festivities. 
We’ll have your sweet tooth covered with the Purple Belle Ice Cream truck. If savory is more to your liking there will be plenty to choose from with gourmet sandwiches, tacos, bbq and pizza.
The 2nd Annual Jingle Paws Jubilee will again include the very popular costume contest hosted by the Doggy Diva. Registration begins at 12:15 and the contest will commence promptly at 1:30. And of course . . .photos with Santa!!
More than 22 rescue groups will in the mix with adorable adoptable pets. If you are considering a new family member, this is a great time to chat with the people who have been caring for the pet and learn a little bit about their personalities. With all of these groups on hand, you may find that you’d like to work with them by fostering a dog, or volunteer to assist them in some other way.
