The dogs you see in this picture live in a cage. It has a wire bottom. Their paws never touch the grass. They don’t get to cuddle, play with the ball or come to Mommy. Their job is to breed. When they can’t breed any more – they are killed. The lucky ones are euthanized. Others are shot, or clubbed to death. That’s why 22 people stood out in the blistering sun tonight breathing in all that US 41 has to offer in terms of oxygen during rush hour.
